This timeless style keeps doing the rounds on the runways and makes a come back this season. Whether you want to keep in minimal in a single colour like Derek Lam’s winter white or Salvatore Ferragamo’s sizling scarlet, or go for a print option a la Missoni, a cape will lift your look up instantly.

The must-have outerwear item of the season comes in the shape of puffa jackets and coats. And this season size matters: the bigger the better. You can either go for shorter crops or go all out in a longer coat, or try top to toe puffa a la DKNY.

50 shades of fetish is upon us with chic, high shine leather in colours from deep burgundy to slick black. Definitely a showstopper whether you make it a longer cut like Valentino or opt for a shorter crop.

March to the beat of the military this winter as this trend is back in a big way – from navy overcoats to matching trousers, to khaki coats to ornate details. You can wear top to toe matching navy with military details and red trims or simply opt for a coat or blazer. If you really want to go bold, make it a red affair like Dolce & Gabbana.
